Kelzor Næstved - Lorcana: Wilds Unknown - Prerelease: Pack Rush

About this Event

Welcome to our Lorcana Prerelease! The format is Pack Rush, and participation costs 220 DKK, which must be paid at signup in the store. Each round of Prerelease Pack Rush goes like this: 1. Pick 2 of your 4 booster packs, without opening them. 2. Determine the first player randomly. 3. Each player opens the chosen 2 booster packs without looking at the cards. 4. Each players sets aside the marketing/puzzle cards, and sleeves the rest of their cards if using sleeves. The cards are then shuffled to create a deck. 5. Each player sets their lore tracker to 0 and draws a starting hand of 5 cards. 6. Each player starts with 2 ink in their inkwell. Each player takes their 2 marketing/puzzle cards, which were set aside earlier, and places them in their inkwell in the ready position. 7. The game begins, following normal Lorcana rules, with the following exceptions: --- The first player to reach 15 lore or more wins the game. --- If a player needs to draw and they’ve run out of cards in their deck, they shuffle their discard and place it facedown as their new deck. Each match is played Best-of-One, meaning that the winner of the first game wins the match. At the end of the game, each player notes the result of the match (win/loss) on their match slip, and then signs the match slip of their opponent. Each player then finds a new opponent, and plays a new game with their remaining 2 booster packs. When a player has completed 2 rounds, they hand in their match slip in order to receive their prizes! A player can participate multiple times if they wish, and will receive prizes for each participation, but must pay for entry for each time they participate. We encourage players to keep playing casually with each other after playing their games.
