Gateway to the Future - Attack of the Vine Prerelease Illumineers Attack of the Vine is upon you! Fend off the enhanced floodborn, the Vine has corrupted them and made them an even bigger threat. Lorcana is also bringing back dual colour cards, with even more vibrance in their glimmers. Similar to the previous prerelease you will be getting 6 packs of the new set Attack of the Vine to build yourself a 40 card minimum deck with no colour restrictions, it will also contain 4 6 sided dice themed towards the prerelease kit and a promo card (1 of six variants) which you can add to your deck if you would like. Once illumineers have all finished constructing their deck they will play 3 best of one swiss rounds. Chapter 13: The Vines have entwined Castle DunBroch, the citizens of DunBroch are tirelessly fighting against the ever growing vegetation. Merida has it under control for now, but at this rate it will all be for not. Where is this atrocity coming from, we have to find the source of The Vine and stop it! I am going to fly overhead and see if I can pinpoint the origin of the growing mass. Your glimmers are keeping the surrounding Vine at a minimum, although it seems like there is a side effect the longer your glimmers interact with the plants, the more concerning you become, it might be best to keep the use of the glimmers to a minimum for now. Your guardian returns shortly with good news, “I have located what might be the origin of The Vine. Let us get our party together and head over North East of there, I am seeing a similar green glow coming from deep in the nearby woods. Though I also hear faint screaming coming from the direction as well, keep your guard up!” You gather as a group and head over to the dense cluster of vines coming from the deep woods. Oh no, it is another door, I wonder where this one is going to take us? You lean towards the door to listen to see if you can hear anything on the other side, as your ear gets close to the fine cedar of the door, it swings open and the illumineers tumble over into the dark lit depths of a dungeon. The dust from the crash settles down and a small fluffy paw reaches out to pick you up. "Oh, goodness! You certainly gave us quite a surprise. I hope that tumble didn't hurt too much, we do not know who you are, but we are a travelling party from Hundred Acre Woods. We've been waiting in this gloomy place for such a long time, hoping someone might come along. The funny thing is, the door you fell through has vanished completely. Since you're here, perhaps we can help each other find the way home." After a small discussion between the parties, informing them of where you came from. You explain to them that there are these terrifying Vines attacking different parts of the realm. The travelling party from Hundred Acre Woods has come to this dungeon as their home has been also under the control of these Vines, this is quite fortunate! We have to find a way to end the Vine invasion before anyone else gets hurt, this might be quite the challenge, whatever or whoever is controlling the Vines is going to be our toughest fight yet!
